Trinity House in Edinburgh will open its doors for Family Tours on Wednesday 5 August 2026, granting visitors the opportunity to explore the building’s remarkable sixteenth-century vaults. The event centres on the animals that sailors would have encountered during their voyages, complemented by an engaging activity trail and the chance to handle objects once used at sea. These atmospheric vaults previously served as a school where children were taught mathematics and navigation. Further tour dates are available on 12, 19, and 26 August 2026.
