​Here's your chance to take a break from the apps and the small talk, arrive fully into yourself and connect playfully & authentically with others. For the first time ever, it's coming to Edinburgh this September!

​Embodied Dating is an immersive evening experience where you'll move fluidly between conversation, movement and touch. Come spark a new connection or two (romantic or platonic), and walk away with skills you can take into every relationship.

​This event welcomes all men, women & non-binary people aged 18+, both monogamous & non-monogamous. This event is aimed for hetero and bisexual identifying people.

​What will actually happen? 🥰

​You'll be invited to explore a series of unique interactions, carefully guided to help you connect through your body, and meet others with genuine curiosity and openness.

​Activities will weave together:

​✨ Authentic Relating - playful, courageous connection through radical honesty and active listening, drawing you into presence and embodied awareness

​✨ Intuitive Movement - surrendering into somatic flow, letting your body lead the way

​✨ Conscious Touch - exploring the many dimensions of co-regulating touch in full awareness of desires and boundaries

​💨 We will begin the evening with a short breathwork practice to help you land.

​👯‍♂️ Some pairings are randomised, some you can choose for yourself.

​😎 Blindfolds may be used in certain activities to deepen your connection with your physical sensations and inner world.

​✅ Consent is central throughout the evening. You will always have the agency to choose how deep you go, and the level of physical contact you want to engage in.

​Why are tickets sold by gender? 👫

​To ensure that the gender balance is as even as possible, it is important to keep track of how many men/women/non-binary people are signing up. If a particular gender is over-represented in the run-up to the event, we do our best to ensure that under-represented gender(s) also sign up.

​While we aim to achieve an even balance of genders (and ages), this is not always possible. However, what is guaranteed are skills that you can apply to any connection. Simply come with an open mind and ready to connect.

​The Facilitator 💁‍♂️

​Laurie King (he/him) is a queer British-Kiwi based in Berlin. Since 2019, he has facilitated hundreds of Authentic Relating, Dating and Embodiment workshops across Oceania and Europe, sparking thousands of nourishing connections and turning strangers into lifelong friends.

​His training includes The Embody Lab, Authentic Revolution, Body Electric, Connection Institute and World Peace Yoga Shool. He has facilitated at internationally acclaimed festivals including Stretch and Ignite, and with organisations such as ART International.

Why are tickets sold by income? 💰

In order to make the event as accessible as possible, there are three ticket types available, depending on the level of income you feel you have. It is up to you to decide how much you would like to contribute to the event.
