About This Event

A guided tour of Crook Hall Gardens and the medieval hall will be held at the Crook Hall Gardens in Durham. The event will feature the history of the home, dating back to 1217. Admission is required.

Join volunteer Chris for a guided tour of Crook Hall Gardens and the medieval hall. Learn about the history of the home, all the way back 1217, when it first appears in written records. Hear about some of the fascinating families who lived here over the centuries and discover the hall’s surprising literary connections.

Free, included with admission to the gardens. Donations welcome.

Please note: Tours are run by a small volunteer team, so occasional dates need to be cancelled each month. If you are visiting to attend a tour, please confirm it is going ahead by calling in advance on 0191 383 1832.
