Building on the success of the UNITY2024 and UNITY 2025, such has been the demand that UNITY2026 will now take places over 3 days.

It is of course possible to attent any ONE, any TWO or all THREE days, as they can be booked seperately!

This years event will again provide a space to meet with colleagues from around the world, listen to and engage in presentations and workshops, get involved in conversations and discussions, and generally get a chance to revisit the core of Relational Practice in the contexts of both learnings from the past and contemporary developments and understanding.

Conference Focus

As with each previous UNITY, the primary focus will be on Relational Practices within Child and Youth Care, Social Care, Social Work, Education and so forth, and for those working (or living) with children and youth in out-of-home care or who are in crisis.

In addition to practice topics, the conferece theme will examine 'Leadership in relational contexts', whilst also maintaining presentations that talk to relational practice more generally.

Relational Leadership requires sustained commitment. Building teams, developing morale, addressing workforce turnover, mentoring through example, and safeguarding relational values are ongoing and intentional tasks will be explored. As we become more experienced as practitioners and leaders, it is ever more apparent that there is a growing responsibility to ensure that hard-earned relational learning is:

Preserved

Remembered

Adapted

Reimagined

Carried forward by emerging generations.

UNITY 2026 seeks to explore how we remain rooted in relational practice while rising into relational leadership.
