An Exhibition of Queer Sheds Cork first year of Pride Printmaking workshops banners coordinated by artists Niamh Kennedy and Pádraig Dennan. These pendants stand as a social outcome from beginners and practised artists engaging with the lino-printing process, appliqué and embroidery, facilitated by Cork artist Eoghan O’Kelly and costume designer Nicole Clifford. These methods of making were facilitated in tandem with histories of previous queer social movements such as the Irish Aids Commemorative Quilts. Through these flags participants personalised, referenced, reengaged and reimagined these histories to be triumphantly shown in Cork’s new community led pride parade in partnership with LINQ Ireland.
