Paul Hyde will deliver an overview of Chester's history from Roman times to the 21st Century at The Grosvenor Museum on 17 September 2026. This free public talk runs at 18:30 and covers key aspects of the city's long history.

Paul - former Heritage Interpretation Officer at Chester City Council- will cover two millennia in one hour. He will identify a selection of places and features that help to highlight Chester’s rich heritage – which should, for example, provide audience members with ideas to places to explore and suggest various Instagram opportunities.
