Join award-winning pianist and composer Terence Collie for an intimate evening of contemporary jazz, blues and original music at Cardiff’s Palladinos Jazz & Blues Bar.

Born in Croydon and raised in Cambridgeshire, Terence Collie has developed a distinctive voice on the contemporary UK jazz scene, recognised for his lyrical piano playing, emotionally rich compositions and cinematic approach to storytelling.

A self-taught keyboard player from an early age, Terence began his professional career in Jersey at 17, where he performed extensively and developed his passion for jazz at the Blue Note Jazz Bar. He later returned to mainland UK, undertaking a six-night-a-week residency at PizzaExpress in Cambridge, an experience that helped shape the expansive repertoire and improvisational fluency that characterise his playing today.

Since then, Terence has performed at leading UK venues and festivals including Cadogan Hall, the EFG London Jazz Festival, Brecon Jazz Festival, PizzaExpress Jazz Club Soho, The 606 Club and The Stables Wavendon, while working alongside many leading musicians.

In 2025, Terence was selected for the MOBO Help Musicians Amplified programme, receiving funding and career-development support as he continued to develop his music and creative practice. (beta.mobo.com)

His latest album, DNA, is his most personal project to date. Inspired by his family heritage, the music explores themes of ancestry, migration, identity and belonging, brought to life through an international ensemble and the London String Group.
