Meet the skilled Cambridge workers whose job it was to design buildings and decorate the interiors in colleges and churches in the 19th cen.

The names of famous artists and designers are familiar to many of us; William Morris, Edward Burne-Jones, Sir George Gilbert Scott to name but a few. But the names of the people who built, manufactured, decorated, or created those designs are less well known.

This tour will focus on those who were born in Cambridge/shire and lived in the city for the whole of their working lives, although examples of their work can be found around the Country.
