About This Event

Join us for a stroll around the grounds on a guided tour of the beautiful Ilam Park, unveiling the history hidden therein. We grade our guided walks A, B or C depending on how challenging the walk will be. This walk is graded A - a short walk on relatively flat ground. Find out the events the shaped the site and learn who the people were who made Ilam Park what it is today. From the construction of Ilam Hall, to its demolition in the 1930s, our experienced and knowledgeable guide will take you on a journey through the centuries, as you walk in the footsteps of those who shaped Ilam's history. From the stunning Italian Gardens to the beautiful surrounding parkland, this is your chance to take in the spectacular views and learn about what makes Ilam such a special place. Voucher is included for 10% off at Ilam Tea Room and free car parking redeemable on the day of the walk. This event, like all our events is open to members of the National Trust and non members. All money raised goes straight back into looking after the White Peak.
