About This Event
The Techy Tea Party is a weekly support group held at the Southmead Development Trust. It is designed for individuals who struggle with technology. The session provides a space for technical assistance.
If you are reading this and know anyone who struggles with technology, please let them know our support group which meets every week at Greenway Centre, with a cuppa, is now at Southmead Library every week on a Tuesday. It is designed to support residents with simple digital steps to get the most from their phone, tablet, or laptop and to use them safely and securely. Our community has one of the lowest digital inclusion rates in the City and so we wanted to address this by giving support to help more of our residents get connected. It can be isolating to be digitally excluded due to the lack of local support to get online, so our Volunteers will help group participants to do just that – over a cuppa where we can.
