A ReNature ReConnect and Somer RediscoveredTask Day
Come along and help us manage an area of species rich grassland at Waterside Valley with an annual hay cut using traditional hay cutting tools. If you enjoy scything or have always fancied having a go then this is the task for you!
Transport will be provided from Bristol at 9.45am from outside The Bristol Hotel on Prince Street (next to Farr's Lane).
For anyone making their own way to site we will meet at the entrance to Waterside Valley off Linden Close. What3Words: thatched.penned.format (https://w3w.co/thatched.penned.format).
Please bring with you a mug, packed lunch, water bottle, suitable clothes/boots/shoes, waterproofs if it looks like rain and a sun hat/suncream if it's looking sunny. All tools, gloves and refreshments will be provided.
If you're looking to get outside, meet like minded people, learn new skills and do something positive for a habitat/green space then this might be just what you are looking for.
