Join us at the Bristol Early Years Forum for Anti-Racist Practice for the first of our three in-person sessions in our 2026-27 programe.

This session is designed around our personal journeys, where we will explore how our identities shape how we approach and sustain conversations about race.

The Bristol Early Years Forum for Anti-Racist Practice is a collaboration between academics and independent Bristol settings. We come together to act as facilitators of a warm, safe and inclusive space to reflect and act together on anti-racist practice.

The forum is open to all those who work in a professional role with young children, regardless of where you are on your anti-racist practice journey. It's a great chance to learn, share, and grow together.

Attendees also have access to our collection of children's and resource books from our free lending library.

You don't have to have attended the previous sessions to come along, however these are not designed as one off training. All three sessions are carefully planned as a journey through vital aspects of anti-racist practice. We recommend coming to all 3 sessions and repeating them over the years, becoming a part of our learning community as we develop and extend our practice together.
