Global Innovators Challenge: Creative Solutions
Join us as part of our Open House on Saturday 19 September for an exciting hands-on journey of creativity, collaboration and innovation. While pupils take part in the workshop, parents are warmly invited to remain on campus, explore our beautiful college, meet members of staff, and enjoy complimentary refreshments.
Designed for curious Year 5 and 6 pupils, our Academic Discovery Workshops provide an opportunity to explore fascinating ideas, work collaboratively with others, and experience learning beyond the classroom.
In Global Innovators Challenge: Creative Solutions, pupils will explore cultures and communities from around the world, investigate real-world challenges, and work in teams to design imaginative solutions. Through creative thinking, problem-solving activities, invention-building, and collaborative discussions, participants will discover how innovative ideas can be transformed into practical solutions. Pupils will explore cultures and communities from around the world, develop creative solutions to real challenges, collaborate effectively in teams, and build and present their own inventions.
Ideal for pupils who enjoy asking questions, working with others, and thinking creatively, this workshop develops future-ready skills including critical thinking, communication, collaboration, global awareness, and innovation, while providing an exciting introduction to how ideas can make a positive impact on the world around them.
Parents attending the Open House will have the opportunity to learn more about life at OIC Brighton and discover how we nurture curiosity, creativity and academic ambition in every student.
