Inside the gallery, you’ll be immersed in inspiring artworks, a welcoming atmosphere, and the joy of creating amongst fellow creatives. It’s not just a workshop; it's a moment of connection, creativity, and appreciation for Brighton’s artistic soul. Music is playing, the bubbly is flowing, and creativity is the only requirement! Whatever your ability, our hosts will help guide you through one of our specially designed step-by-step painting guides, or go freestyle - the choice is yours! Make memories, share laughs, and get a little messy. This is a party you’ll never forget! Prime Location: Based in the iconic Brighton Lanes, perfect for a pre-workshop wander or post-paint dinner! Complimentary Bubbles: A chilled glass of fizz on arrival to get the creative juices flowing. BYOB Policy: Bring your favourite drinks and snacks! We provide all the glassware and a relaxed environment. All Materials Included: We provide canvases, paints, and aprons. Just bring yourself and your imagination! Bespoke design: Have a special event and want to create something unique to you and your group? We have an option to work directly with our artists to design your own step-by-step guide! Feel free to bring your own refreshments, and we are BYOB friendly to enjoy during your session, making your experience even more comfortable and sociable. Our gallery also provides toilet and handwashing facilities, ensuring convenience and ease throughout your visit. With all workshop materials and tools provided, this setup allows you to fully enjoy your creative experience without worrying about additional costs, so you can focus entirely on making art and having fun. Liberation Art Gallery CIC is a not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to making creativity accessible for everyone. Nestled in the heart of Brighton, our gallery and creative workshop and art therapy space reinvests all profits directly back into our community programmes, ensuring quality exhibition space for artists and individuals, families, and young people, especially those facing barriers to education, mental health support, or inclusion, can access high-quality creative and therapeutic experiences. By joining our workshops and events, you’re not only nurturing your own creativity but actively helping us deliver free and low-cost art therapy, outreach projects, and wellbeing initiatives to those who need it most. Painting Options: Wildflowers - A beautiful field of wildflowers, learn to create dimension by layering dark to light - and customise your field with your favourite flowers and colours! Disco balls - A funky guide to create a 3d discoball. Customise the colour and composition to make the painting truly yours! Beach - Create a seascape themed painting. Customise the scene by using expressive marks for the sea, and either a summer's day or sunset sky. Freestyle! - We love to keep our sessions open! Paint whatever you like: abstract, pet portraits, a landscape from your travels. While there might not be a dedicated step-by-step, your host will be happy to provide guidance along the way. Bespoke - An optional add-on. Work directly with your host in the lead-up to your event to design a bespoke step-by-step guide. This could be pets, portraits, landscapes. This is a great option for hen parties or birthday celebrations to make it truly personal! Cancellation Policy: We understand that plans can change, and we do our best to be fair whilst protecting the sustainability of our workshops. Cancellations or date changes must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled workshops Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop or non-attendance on the day are non-refundable As a goodwill gesture, we are happy to offer a transfer to a future workshop of equal value, subject to availability, when at least 48 hours' notice is given Workshop credits must be used within 3 months of the original workshop date and cannot be exchanged for cash We are unable to offer refunds or workshop transfers for same-day cancellations.
