Beyond Berlin follows Raymond, an idealistic English visitor drawn into the city’s dazzling cabaret underworld. There he meets Ernst, a magnetic performer whose charm masks a life shadowed by fear and violence. As desire deepens between them, the pair risk everything for a forbidden relationship in a society where danger lurks behind every glittering curtain. Trapped between passion, survival and the threat of Ernst’s abusive lover, Raymond and Ernst must decide how much they are willing to sacrifice for freedom and each other. A bold new play by Brighton-based creative Samuel Milletti.
