Sound Bath experiences can help to reduce stress by lowing cortisol levels reducing anxiety and providing a deep calm and relaxing experience. Vibrations relax tense muscles and can help improve sleep patterns with regular attendance.
Wherever you are on your life journey, whether a student facing exam pressures, a parent trying to juggle life's challenges, a carer, or a professional with many demands placed on you, this experience can be extremely beneficial.
No prior experience is necessary to participate in this event. Simply bring yourself and an open mind. A short breathing exercise at the start and end of the experience focuses the mind and releases the tension of the week that has passed. Wear comfortable clothing and please bring cushions, blankets and floor mats to sit or lie on, ensuring your utmost comfort throughout the experience as we have a beautiful wooden floor which enhances the vibrations. (A limited number of spare yoga mats are available if needed).
Andy is a qualified sound therapist with a diploma in sound therapy, known for creating deeply restorative, meditative experiences through sound. Drawing on years of practice and study, he specializes in the therapeutic use of Himalayan singing bowls and gongs, weaving rich overtones and gentle rhythms to support relaxation, stress release, and emotional balance. In one-to-one sessions and group sound baths he combines careful listening with intuitive pacing, tailoring each session to the client’s needs—whether easing anxiety, improving sleep, or aiding recovery from burnout.
His approach blends traditional methods with contemporary therapeutic principles: precise bowl placement for targeted vibrational work, sympathetic resonance with large gongs to encourage nervous-system downshifting, and mindful breath cues to anchor awareness. Beyond clinical sessions, he offers workshops and trainings that introduce safe, ethical, and effective sound practices, helping participants cultivate presence, resilience, and a grounded sense of wellbeing.
'' I am a perimenopausal woman working several jobs with a demanding family and ageing parents. I have found this sound bath experience to be of great benefit to my health and well-being. Each time I leave the session I feel lighter and more at ease, I sleep better and my levels of patience and reserves of energy are much improved for many days. I cant wait to return each week, more sessions please!”
